Sick (N)

July 9th, 2009 by mariel

So the past two days have resulted in myself being sick. And i have no idea where it has come from. But i have perservered (spelling?) through it and still participated in the work here at Infinite Interactive. :)

Paula and Sam haven’t really given me much work today since they know i have not been feeling well…

… so i’ve just continued to play Puzzle Chronicles and Puzzle Quest… and talking with Thomas too.

All over again

Nothing too exciting today here at Infinite Interactive.

We continued to play Puzzle Chronicles on PC, Puzzle Kingdom on the iPod and Puzzle Quest.

So basically, doing what i did yesterday all over again. :D

Repeat

July 7th, 2009 by mariel

Today was exactly like the “beginning of the second week.” Hence, the reason i’ve titled this entry “Repeat”

I either played Puzzle Chronicles or Puzzle Quest on the PC, which by the way, i am so totally kicking ass in. :D

Even though its deja vu, im still loving it!

P.S I’ve brought my camera round this week (last week i was using Tom’s), so i’ll get some good shots up when i can. :)

Beginning of the Second Week

Quite normal. But, Tom came in a bit late. tsk tsk. disappointing. :P hahaha. But its okay. He lives basically 3 hours away anyway. ><

Anyways, my job today was to play the new build of Puzzle Chronicles on the PC. There werent many bugs but once in a while the game would crash while loading. But thats it really.

Meh. Just a normal day here at Infinite Interactive.

Games Night: Part 2

July 6th, 2009 by mariel

Basically, we ate pizza which pretty much disappeared in like 3 minutes flat. And the rest of the night was spent playing Buzz on the PS3, some random game on the Wii and poker? i think it was… well, either way… it was some sort of card game. ;)

Anyways, all in all, this whole week has been amazing and working here is definitely a great introduction to the IT industry!

P.S i totally thrashed my colleagues in Buzz!

Games Night: Part 1

Wow, the past 5 days have gone by REAL quick.
Honestly, i didn’t think it would go by this fast but im grateful that i was even given this opportunity! :)

But there’s still next week to go and i definitely think it’ll be just as awesome! xD

AND, today is Friday… therefore… it’s Games Night here at Infinite Interactive and from what i’ve heard there’s pizza, beer (soft drink for us kiddies) and BUZZ.
:)

it’s gonna be epic.

Deja Vu Again

July 3rd, 2009 by mariel

Pretty much did what i did yesterday.

Puzzle Quest on PC

Puzzle Chronicles on XBOX

And there were still some glitches on the XBOX so i ended up playing Puzzle Chronicles on the PS3 again.
And i’ve upped the anti by changing the difficulty to “deathbringer” XD

Bring it on!

Puzzle Quest

July 2nd, 2009 by mariel

Now that i’ve completed Puzzle Chronicles on PS3… my addiction to it has somewhat diminished. HOWEVER, i can’t deny that i’ve found a NEW addiction and that, of course, is Puzzle Quest on the PC. :O

Recommended. (Y)

Yeah, it's awesome!

Thinking too much.

XBOX 360

July 2nd, 2009 by mariel

Crashing, Crashing, Crashing, Crashing, Crashing. ><

Just a never ending cycle.

Okay, maybe not NEVER ending. But still, error upon error upon error. ><

Seriously though, it’s an epic game. :D

But at the moment, when i play Puzzle Chronicles with the XBOX, it crashes whenever i defeat the enemy. However, we were able to find the error by an applicaton called iWatson, which records all the game code throughout play. And with this, we located the source and sent it over to the XBOX developers who are currently trying to fix the glitch.

It’s pretty cool watching all this happening. :)

Error Found

July 1st, 2009 by mariel

I completed the PS3 version of Puzzle Chronicles this morning, so i began to play the DS version. But the small screen was just too much for me (ironic.. isnt it?), so I was asked to test out Puzzle Chronicles on the XBOX 360 instead.

And it was all good until i reached and completed the first battle in which the game kept crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing… you know what i mean…

Anyways, I told the head QA, Paula, and she logged it on her computer and an error report was made. :)

And while i played 3 different versions of Puzzle Chronicles, Thomas was STILL playing the PS3 version trying to get all the “UBER” weapons.

Honestly, i reckon he should just give up. ;)
